“Layoffs are Commonplace”
Hi Joe
I spoke with our mutual client regarding his layoff. He indicated that his specific job would require two weeks, but he is not 100% sure. I am going to notify the listing agent regarding the current situation and see if we can keep everything together. I put the inspections on hold for now.
Thanks. Dan
It is a crazy time for everyone and life as we knew it has changed and at this point being safe is priority number one.
From one minute to the next, I don’t know which of my clients are being told not to report for work and when that happens, for how long?
Fortunately, the lenders that I work with continue to accommodate my clients. When the work-related issues show up, we work together to figure out a solution.
Work related issues are less difficult when our clients are refinancing, but when purchasing a home these events can be much more challenging. So far, all our transactions continue to move forward.

Good morning Joe. This issue will continue to grow in the coming weeks. So sad!

I think the real estate business has remained somewhat active, but I can also see that coming to a abrupt halt...
