Hi Joe

I have a couple of reasons for emailing, first to wish you and yours an outstanding 2020. This has been on my mind for a couple of weeks and want to share it with you, probably because I read one of your blogs that was about helping another client, just like you did with us a couple of different times.  

I was listening to MSNBC and this a$$!ole was being interviewed and was talking about how mortgage brokers discriminate. He’s apparently an online national mortgage company, in other words your competition. I took personal offense to these comments and sent my feelings to MSNBC.

Being someone of color I take offense to comments like this, but want you to know, this guy has no damn clue what the hell he is talking about. I would much rather work with someone like you that I know and trust vs. an online anything. Just wanted you to know.

The reason is pretty simple, the majority of mortgages done in this country are done by mortgage brokers. There are many reasons, but most importantly it is because of all the options we can offer our clients.

 

I appreciate Will’s email, but I don’t take this stuff personally as the Feds and online companies have attempted to put mortgage brokers out of business for years. Fortunately, their efforts have never been successful. 77% of all the mortgages written are written by the mortgage broker community.
