“Exceeding Our Comfort Level for a Payment”

“Exceeding Our Comfort Level for a Payment”

Hey Joe,

Just wanted to let you know our offer was accepted over the weekend. I know you kept coaching us about not losing sight of our comfort level for a mortgage payment. We are going to exceed our comfortable level by about $100 per month, but we will make it work as we love the home. B

For those that know me, I am always speaking about a comfort level for a mortgage payment rather than how high of a mortgage payment someone can qualify for. Yes, each of my clients know what they can qualify up to, but all need to know their comfort level for their mortgage payment.

These clients will still have a payment that is below what they could qualify up to, so they are making the best decision for them, especially since they really wanted to buy this particular home.

Congratulations to these first time home buyers!

{Good grief, I'll be glad when they zap this spammer} So very true on the not exceeding their comfort level. Great advice, especially for first time home buyers.
