As I shared with you yesterday, our BK was discharged two years ago, but everyone we spoke to indicated that a mortgage was not possible for 3 years. We are getting killed on taxes and are sick of paying $2000 a month rent. My wife and I are looking forward to meeting with you on Monday. Attached please find all the documents that you requested.
It is easy to understand the frustration these folks share about their financial history, often a case of bad things happening to good people.
I can do an FHA mortgage for these clients so that they can buy a home. They will be able to write off the mortgage interest on their income tax, instead of collecting rent slips. Instead of a $2000 rent payment, they will have a mortgage payment that is similar.
There are also mortgage products that are available that can be done immediately after a BK, foreclosure or short sale.
