Joe,

Am really pissed off that we have been waiting for 2 months for the seller to get the title issues corrected and I’m not even sure what the issues are. Our attorney tells us it may take a few more months. Should it be listed not know this stuff before putting the property on the market? Do we pull the plug and move on to another home or do we hang in there?

 

They love the home, so walking away would be tough, but they may not have a choice.

 

It is not likely that the listing agent would have picked up the issues with this home, so not the person to blame and unfortunately the seller had no clue either. The issues happened when the seller purchased and his attorney missed stuff. That attorney retired a number of years ago, there is not existing mortgage and no title insurance policy that anyone can turn to.
