Federal Reserve Signals it Won't Raise Interest Rates This Year

Really good news for anyone considering purchasing a home in 2019 and even beyond. Also, a great time to do a refinance to consolidate debts.

I just did a new mortgage for Amanda. She was paying $1650 per month for rent. Down payment was an issue, but she wanted to live in a more rural area which meant we could do a USDA loan which required no money down. Her mortgage payment is under $1400. Much better to be paying a mortgage instead of collecting rent slips.

I did a refinance for clients a couple of days ago and their mortgage payment was $1773. As part of the refinance we paid off two credit cards that had minimum monthly payments of $900. Their new mortgage payment is $1669. That’s like getting a $12,000 a year pay raise!

I love hearing about people who were able to decrease their monthly payments. The stable interest rates will help many.

Good morning Joe. All renters should examine the alternatives. Many should jump at the opportunity. Enjoy your day!

HI Joe Petrowsky - I never rented a day in my life because I weighed the alternatives.

Good morning, Joe Petrowsky rents are outrageously high and if anyone is capable of obtaining a mortgage, they should be calling Joe Petrowsky for guidance...

Rents are extremely high here too and there is a lot of flipping going on. As soon as homes are sold, within days they are on the market for rent which I find unusual.

In reference to your post, I'm glad you always help clients to know their options.

Morning Joe.

That's good news to our industry.  Hopefully, more buyers will be looking.  Rent around my area is outrageous.
