“My Bank Can’t do My Mortgage”
My Realtor Jim XXXXXX gave me your contact information. I recently met with my banks to get pre-qualified for a mortgage. After a couple of weeks, they let me know they couldn’t help me because my credit scores are too low. They let me know my mid scores is 592 and the lowest score they will do is 640.
Jim indicated that you have done many mortgages for his clients that had scores similar to mine. So, when can we speak so that I can review my information with you?
The crazy part of this is the bank loan officer ended up referring the same client to me. They know we can do mortgages for clients with a credit score as low as a 500. Even though we can do scores that low, not everyone will qualify for a mortgage for one reason or another. In some cases, we need to work with the client to get their credit issues repaired and then get them pre-qualified.
Not the case for Beth, we can get her a mortgage immediately and I also coached her on some credit repair. She might be able to improve her scores prior to finding a home.
