Hi Joe,

Hope you enjoyed the holidays. Not sure if you remember me or not, but we spoke last May about mortgages. You had pulled my credit and I attached a copy of it from then. Since then I have paid Citi, Barclays and AmEx off and there should be no disputes. Since I have never done this, I am not sure what else I should work on next (besides reducing debt). I am trying to set a goal to purchase something next fall/winter but wanted to get all my ducks in a row starting now. Can you pull my credit again to make sure I am on the “Right Trac”?

Once I reran his credit, it came back that the credit scores dropped. He made the mistake that many make, adding new credit cards and running the balances close to the high credit limit, which will always lower credit scores.


I gave him more coaching so that we can improve the credit scores. I advised to keep the high credit balances below 30% or pay off the balances each month if that is possible.

There are so many aspects to credit scores, some that aren't intuitive. Eric knew who to come to for guidance!
