“Paperwork and sometimes MORE Paperwork”

     “Paperwork and sometimes MORE Paperwork”

Can you promise this exercise is not going to be like buying our home?  The last time I did it the finance company needed additional paperwork and additional paperwork and then even more paperwork.... I would rather pay PMI than go through that exercise again... it was awful - and it was the 5th or 6th time I had bought a home or refinanced - just plain awful experience.

I know I should just move forward, but am scared to death. We wouldn’t even consider doing this but people raved about the great job you did for them.

Jesse

Believe me, I know the paperwork can be a pain in the A$$. I can even understand why some of the paperwork is necessary but some of it is truly difficult to understand. There are often times that the same thing is being asked for more than once and many times at the 99th hour.

And that's why working with a good LO is key - knowing what to get up front, and knocking it all out early is the key to a good transaction.  With agency-direct options, many times the paperwork is next to nothing!

Joe-i think most people fear the paperwork and what they don't know.  It's so important to find the right person, such as yourself, to help guide them through this process.

Well, at least you didn't sugarcoat it and promise them they won't get asked for the same document at the 11th hour for the 96th time.

It's definitely a challenge getting a laon or refinancing, but working with the right person, like you, who can explain the whys behind it all and keep things flowing as smoothly as possible is the right way to go.
