“This Bar Owner take Free Enterprise to a New Level”

A guy who owns a local bar asked me and my band to play next Friday night. He tells me, "We can't pay you anything, but it will be GREAT exposure for you and the guys!"

So I told him "Hey, can I bring 30 of my besties to your bar next Saturday night to drink? We can't pay you anything, but it will be great exposure for your bar!"

The message here came through 'loud and clear', Joe Petrowsky and when clients demand us to cut commissions, we, too, need to have a similar thoughtful response.

Joe, That makes perfect sense to me.  Isn't it odd that some doors only seem to swing in one direction?

The only thing that would make this more appropriate would be to tell the bar owner they would bring their own refreshments
