“Truly a Small World”

“Truly a Small World”

It’s always great when clients of mine rub elbows but that normally doesn’t happen quite this way. What are the odds of them being on a plane together, sitting next to one another?

I just met a client of yours on the plane last week, his name is Gary XXXXXXX. We had a 4 hour flight which went by quite quickly as we got to know each other. As we conversed about his family and his ventures down through the years and I just happened to mention your name. What a "small world" it is, do you have any boundaries? He sends his best.

Both of these folks have been long term clients, over 20 years in one case and over 10 years for the other. I did feel my ears ringing the other day, now I know why.

It truly is a small world.  I'm finding that out with the Sales Manager at my new job.  We know so many of the same people.  He went to school with my cousin, hasn't seen her in years but recognized her when she came into the store to buy a new sofa and chair.

I am not surprised when we all know how many people you help each day! Of course some of them would run into each other.

It really is a pretty small world now that we connect with so many other via the Internet.  I don't think there are 6 degrees of seperation anymore.

Never ceases to amaze me.  I just had a random lead here in CA, and the guy's girlfriend is from where I used to work - in Chadds Ford, PA.  Our world is shrinking by the day, and it's nice to know 2 great clients were able to connect with good thoughts of you.

In a conversation with a former client yesterday, she told me about her trip to England. There in the street she met a family member she didn't know was even in the country when the woman called out her name. It's hard enough for me to recognize people I see every day.
