“Referral from Someone I Couldn’t do a Mortgage for”

“Referral from Someone I Couldn’t do a Mortgage for”

This is the second time I got a referral in the last four weeks from someone that I couldn’t do a mortgage for. In both cases neither client was in a position credit score wise to do a mortgage as of yet. I coached both of them as to what they will need to do to be mortgage-able.

In both cases both had told me no one would speak to them, which is not very smart for anyone in our industry to do. Both are committed to doing what is necessary to get their credit repaired, but they just had no idea as to what to do or how to do it. Credit repair is not rocket science, but without some guidance it can be overwhelming.

Hi Joe! Bethany XXXXXXXX referred me to you. I would love to talk to you about possibly refinancing my house. She spoke very highly of you, I trust her judgment, so when can I meet with you?

At least you took the time to speak with both of them and hopefully you'll be able to help them in the future.

You have built a great reputation as the go to mortgage man and it brings you constant business.  What a great pipeline you have built for the future

The people who didn't want to speak to them wanted immediate business. Helping people who aren't ready not only results in business from those borrowers, but from all their friends and family who are told how wonderful you are.

Hi Joe.  You are in business for the long term.  Helping them get a mortgage in the future is smart business.

Hi Joe.  I'm glad that these folks are working to do what needs to be done and still referring potential clients to you.

Good morning Joe. Looking to the future is not what most people in the mortgage business do. To bad! Enjoy your day!

Good Morning Joe,

Very good timing read as I am meeting with the buyer this week... the one I talked to you about. Hopefully, we can both help her attain her home ownership dream soon.

Yes, this is one of the reasons you have steady business, even in the slower times.  You have a pipeline of people preparing.

Hi Joe Petrowsky How many times does it need to be said, it's the thought that counts? Obviously. Good show.

You simply laid the groundwork for a future client. That's our job. To help people regardless of when or even if we may see the payoff. I do buyer consultations all the time when at the end of the conversation it's determined that they are not ready to buy a home just yet.

Good morning Joe, it's unfortunate we can not help all who are referred but the referral itself says a lot about how great you are in what you do.

Hi Joe --- caring matters and your practice shows it can pay off handsomely.  And in many ways.

Joe who ever refused to help them was not very smart.  A big part of what we do is to help others, and when we stop being willing to do that w out of this business.

Going the extra mile for customers has it's own rewards . . . . Referrals.

Good luck and success.

Kudos Joe Petrowsky for taking the time to educate these people on how to repair their credit.  I bet you will receive more referrals from both.
