“How Should the Realtor Communicate After Receiving a Referral from Me?”

I am so excited that Joe sent me your information and I have the opportunity to assist you in finding your new home! I will tell you this, Joe and I only send our very best clients to one another! This is why I am so thrilled to be working with you both! Okay, so …. all this being said, how can I assist you? Where do you want to live? What type of home are you looking for and what other specifics can I help you to find?

This is such a FUN time for you both! We will find you the perfect new place to call your home!!! Please feel free to reach out to me via text, cell call, or email! I work just about all day, every day! I am looking forward to speaking and meeting you both!!

I refer an average of 10 pre-qualified clients to Realtors each month. Everyone communicates to my clients differently. After reading this communication I thought it was worth sharing.

What would you be thinking if you got this communication?

I would think that is a very energetic and excited real estate professional!

Good morning Joe.  Don't you wish you had 1,000 agents with that enthusiasm

Seems a little too enthusiastic for me...

I think that many people will love to see this note.  Others may find it a little over the top.

Overall, this is good, but dumb to say available close to 24/7.  Sounds desperate and says there are no boundaries.  There is no reason to write that.

Good morning, Joe -- it is certainly positive.  I would like to see the client's response.

Good morning Joe,

A great response and hope the Realtor kept reaching out to the mutual client.

Make yourself a great day,

Good Morning Joe,

That is worth sharing. It shows the positive energy emanating from the Realtor's tone. She/he did a great job.

Joe, communication is essential in this process and many lenders are quiet as a mouse!

You can feel the electric excitement in this agent's communication...lucky buyer !

Let me take the contrarian opinion here... Energetic? Yes. Custom to the client? Um, no!

I would have asked for an appointment to discuss their needs and timeframe at the very least. My email (if I chose to SEND an email; I might have preferred a phone call with an email follow-up) would have stated your complete name & title, given a brief overview of my background, with a link to my website. I would be excited and professional, but not over the top.

What did YOU think of the email?

This is a great, upbeat message, Joe. And bound to get a buyer's attention. But I never tell anyone I work every day, all day long--even if I do. No need to invite them to be calling and texting at midnight.

I liked the agent's response and hopefully the buyers and agent hit it off.

I love the excitement shown here by the agent.  Very smart!  Wonder what it would be like to receive a referral from one of my lenders?   hmmmmmm

Great example, and how nice of you to send business back to real estate agents.  I wonder how many lenders do that?  A

Joe that is an excellent endorsement of you by the Realtor, and make your relationship with the Borrower even stronger.

If I was a buyer I would be happy to have an agent that was this excited for me and this anxious to find me a home.
