“When Bad Things Happen to Good People”

“When Bad Things Happen to Good People”

These folks were a referral from one of the banks that is a referral partner of mine. They can’t do this mortgage but this is definitely a mortgage we can do.

When I see situations like this I get on a mission. There has to be something that can be done. Fortunately we have a number of lenders that can do a mortgage for these clients. When I spoke to the wife she broke down and cried. They will be wonderful homeowners in the next couple of months:

My husband was diagnosed with cancer and under gone an operation, chemo and radiation therapy needless to say we had some accounts that went into collections.

We were able to clear up all of the medical expenses and are making monthly payments on others. As we were in the process of making headway my husband got laid off due to the economy lack of work which resulted in falling behind on our mortgage payments and had to do a short sale.

Since then my husband has retired with three pensions and social security and I work full time, together we gross approximately 90k per year. We now have secured income and would love to own our own home again. We are currently renting and pay $1550.00 monthly by check and have excellent payment history with our landlord for over 2 years now. Also we recently got approved for a car loan and have been paying on that loan for the past 4 months on time every month and our secured credit card has become unsecured due to our payment history which is excellent.

Hi Joe.  You make mortgages happen where others just say no.  Wonderful.

I'm so glad that you can help folks like this, Joe.  And while I don't wish you more competition, I find it terrible that the banks refuse to do so.

Joe Petrowsky Everybody has a few warts. It is good that some lenders recognize this fact, and aren't looking for "perfect" credit. Shame on the banks.

Bad things do happen to good people, Joe. I've come across my fair share of them over the years and there's no better a feeling than when I and one of my mortgage lenders can help them achieve their dream of home ownership.

Joe, there are always situations where good people ask themselves, why us when things go very wrong. BUT! With faith and perserverance AND having an angel come into their midst (yes, divine intervention sometimes, but building intention also brings it) they can move through towards their dreams. I love when you tell us your "missionary" stories!

Have a wonderful New Year's eve with Gail.
