“Who Have You Coached about Blogging and Social Media?”

“Who Have You Coached about Blogging and Social Media?”

Lana is a Realtor that does business three thousand miles away from where my office is, the likelihood of us ever send a referral to one another is not very high, but that doesn’t matter.

She indicated that she had read some of my blogs and asked if it would be OK to ask some questions, that is what we did for a half hour. I really hope she gets on a path of blogging to grow her business.

In situations like this, I think back to those that assisted me and answered questions for me, when I first started blogging. It is my responsibility to give something back as well.

Hi Joe,

Thanks a million for calling me today and sharing your pearls of wisdom about business strategies and more specifically blogging.

I am definitely going to be carving out time for blogging and improving my LinkedIn Profile.

Hi Joe... I must admit I haven't really coached anyone in blogging and social media, as I think I still need a ton of coaching myself. But I did do a class on blogging in my company for new agents when they asked me to do so. End result? Virtually no one started blogging. I think I scared them. But I do help anyone as much as I can when asked. What goes around comes around.

Joe Petrowsky I think it is always a good strategy to help other out, you never know when this reciprocate itself. If it does not it still the right thing to do.

I'm so grumpy that most people are afraid to call because they think I'll chew off their head and spit it out for breakfast, but I do help the other guys.

Joe, I've talked to a few newbies and agents who've been in the business for a long time about the importance of blogging and in my experience most are too much into "instant gratification" to follow through and devote time required to blogging...too bad for them! Anyway, for me blogging contributes to a large part of my business and I understand its importance.

On another note...I've talked to Elizabeth Weintraub Sacramento Real Estate Agent, Top 1% of Lyon Agents and disagree with the notion of her being grumpy ever to me! Well, maybe once regarding a bourbon issue, but that's another story!

Good morning Joe Petrowsky ,

Taking time to help is a trait we respect in you. In the Floyd Wickman courses I took we learned an important phrase that has always stuck with me: "You get by giving!" You show everyday how true that phrase is.
