“Offer Accepted”

“Offer Accepted”

We are very excited to get the opportunity to work with you....

No matter how many times I work with a first time home buyer and they let me know that their offer was accepted, I just know how excited and nervous they are. These folks are paying $1650 per month for rent and their mortgage payment will be nearly $400 less. It just doesn’t get any better that that, but actually it did.

As soon as I set up the appointment to do the mortgage application, I then asked “Who else do you know that needs my help?” Sure enough, I was immediately rewarded with a friend that was also going to be home shopping over the next couple of months. I will also ask again during the application.

The Realtor set up a purchase agreement for 60 days because of all the paranoia about TRI, but we will be done long before that time.

Who else do you know that needs my help?

It's all in the asking ... right Joe?  When we help others it is only natural that they want to reciprocate.

It's asking for the "order"....reminding them at the peak time how they can help someone else as you have helped them.

It's so simple, but most of the time we forget to ask "who else do you know that needs my help?".  And of course you REALLY helped them acquire their first home with a great mortgage which lowers their monthly housing output.

Sounds like a no brainer for these buyers.  TRID has certainly slowed down our process.  One of my lenders says TRID spelled bakwards is DIRT

Joe great job in saving these first time buyers $400 a month, but even a better job in asking for the referral.
