“Why Should I Use You as My Mortgage Broker?”
I got an call from a prospective client, explaining that she was referred to me and asked why she should use me as her mortgage broker, compared to the person that she has used for years. I happen to know the person that she has been using and like him, he’s a really good person.
I told her that I would not make a change and told her, that I know the person and like him. Then she told me, that her real estate agent recommended me and so did the seller of the property that they are interested in. I told her I appreciated hear that these folks had referred me, but it doesn’t matter, she has had a good experience in the past, definitely go back again.
She told me that this conversation is not what she expected and thanked me. It wasn’t 30 minutes later that I got a call from my competitor to thank me for how I handled the conversation. He got off the phone saying, I owe you one my friend. Life is good!
