“Refinance in Glastonbury , Ct”
Last night I took a mortgage application to refinance a home in Glastonbury , Ct. The refinance accomplished three things for these clients. They had 27 years left on their existing mortgage with an existing rate of 5%. They also want to take some cash out to renovate two bathrooms.
Here is the net result of what we did for these folks. We put them into a 15 year mortgage, reducing the term by 12 years. They will receive cash at closing of $24,000. The new mortgage payment will be $224 per month higher and the net saving for interest is $115,600.
