“Appraiser and Loan Officer Screwed Up”
I’m delighted that our next door neighbor referred you. As we shared with you, we attempted to refinance in May, but the appraisal came in below what we owe. We explained to the mortgage guy that the appraisal was wrong, but we didn’t get anywhere.
How can the appraiser report our house as being a 2 bedroom which the town has it being a 3 bedroom and we know that it is in fact three bedrooms? We have attached the photos, so you can see what we are talking about.
We are putting together all that you have requested and will set up the appointment once we have everything. We look forward to meeting in person.
This kind of crap gives all of us in the mortgage business a bad name. I had an appraiser do a comp check for me to make sure the story was correct. The value will come in about $40,000 higher than the appraisal that was done. These folks will not file complaints but they should, at least to go after the appraisal fee that they paid.
