“More Foreign Investors?”
Is there any wonder why foreigners want to buy real estate in the U.S.? It used to pretty much be a higher property investment thought process, but that seems to be changing. America is still one of the safest places on the planet to own real estate and keep assets.
When I get two calls in a day from “real estate finders” that are looking for mortgages for their clients, I’m sure I’m not alone. Mortgages are available for Foreign Nationals, most of the time 30% down is required.
Maybe it is that I am just more on guard right now. I asked who the client is and what their country of origin is and that is just to start. In both cases they would not divulge the information and in turn they would not get any information from me.
Am I just over reacting right now?
