“How are You Able to get a Rate Lower than my Bank?”
My neighbor did his mortgage with you a few months ago (Burt XXXXXXXXXX), he suggested that I speak to you. I have never done a mortgage with a mortgage broker, always with my local bank. He shared with me that you got him an amazing rate, a rate that is lower than what my bank has offered me.
How are you able to get a rate lower than a bank? It’s just hard for me to understand. He shared with me the closing costs for his transaction and after comparing what they have offered me, his costs were lower.
I have always thought that doing a mortgage with a mortgage broker would end up costing me more, but after Burt showed me what you did for him, I would like to have you do my mortgage.
During the week, I am off Friday afternoon, my wife and I can meet with you, if you have that available, just give me a list of what you need us to bring.
I know where your office is, as we attend church right near your office.
I have heard this comment and conversation many times and it is just not something that is true at all. There is just no such thing as a bank that is going to give someone a better deal, most of the time. Yes, they offer discounts to employees, directors and alike, but not for most customers.
