The challenge was one credit obligation, an auto loan which was nearly $600 per month and the debt ratio just didn’t work. I recommended that she attempt to refinance the loan, gave her two different places, one a bank the other an insurance company who will refinance car loans through one of their divisions. Hopefully, if a refinance can be done and a couple of other cards are paid down, home ownership will be possible.

 

Looks like we won't be able to get our own place then? We pay $1,215.00 per month where we live for a Townhouse with heat and hot water included. We are sick of paying rent and know we could own a home for what we are paying for rent.
