Hello Joe,

 

Hope you had a nice Thanksgiving. We have found a house that we are interested in...what is our next move?

 

I gave one of my co-workers your contact info over the weekend? Her name is Nell, she and her husband are ready to start looking for another home, similar to what we are doing.

 

I looked up some data this morning and found that this couple has referred 11 clients in the same time period, 10 of which actually did a mortgage with me and in a couple of cases more than once. So here is the question, what is the value of a raving fan?

 

I gave them a detailed description of the next steps even though they already know the process, but they wanted to hear it all again so they know I am fully engaged with them throughout the process.

 

Building a referral based business is done one client at a time and built properly will pay dividends for a long time.
