“At Some Price, all the Math will Work”
The seller’s Realtor told my agent that the sellers are old and are not willing to do much work, and looking at the inspection list that she voluntarily gave me (attached), it seems the sellers are not willing to consider much of a discount when faced with the list of fix-up projects either. I think that the house came back on the market in June because of either the sellers unwillingness to make fixes or sellers very low offer to have buyers do the fixes. I would guess that both Realtors are trying to tell me that the way around that problem is to discount the initial offer price and do this as an FHA 203K which we discussed previously.
I have been in communication with both Realtors, it almost seems like therapy sessions. My client’s Realtor keeps recommending that I convince Jamie to make an offer, any offer. It looks like that is what she is going to do, so who knows where it goes from here.
