“Pre-Qualified Based on a Comfortable Mortgage Payment”
I spend time with my clients talking through their comfort level for a mortgage payment. I know that isn’t what is traditional. I also want them to contact me as they are going through their search process, as there is always going to be variables like property taxes, homeowner’s insurance, mortgage insurance and possibly flood insurance or condo fees.
Good morning Joe
They will be reaching out to you on Monday. They want to go over what their mortgage payment will be. There are two homes that are about $200,000 that is definitely the range. They lost a house the other day because they didn't want to go $210,000 on a multiple offer situation. I'm trying to help them understand if they're not willing to do what it takes and they're not comfortable with the monthly payment in that price range we have to start looking at lower-priced homes.
