“Referring Out a Client, Brings More Referrals”
I refer a lot of business to banks, especially home equity line business. I referred this client that I have done business with for two other mortgages and he was a little surprised when I wanted to refer him to a bank to do the home equity line as that is what he was looking for.
I explained that the bank would charge no closing costs and no appraisal fee. I do business with a banker that is a mile from his office and made the referral. By the end of the day I got a follow up email from the banker.
How is everything going? I really appreciate the referral for John. I spoke with him on Friday and we entered the application. He is gathering the docs and once we submit them we should be pretty much good to go. I reached out to him today and I’m not sure if there was some phone mess-up or what but I couldn’t leave a message. I am going to try him back after lunch time to see if I can speak with him directly. Things definitely look good. Thanks again for the referral if there is anything I can do let me know!
Since the referral was made, I have received a referral from the banker and John. It always pays to be a giver; you will always get in return.
